Negotiating to Win-Win
OVERVIEW:
Negotiating is a part of our everyday life. Managers negotiate for financial, material and human resources. Engineering and manufacturing professionals negotiate product specifications and project deadlines. Project managers negotiate to allocate cross-functional resources, project support and deliverables. Indeed, negotiation is often referred to as “the game of life” and “win-win” is not the same thing as “nice-nice.”
